How Kwikset Roadshow in Manila changed the way I see LOCKS

Image
The Kwikset Roadshow Manila 2018 taught me a lot about locks. As a head of the family, I know how important locks are in our home, but many times I fail to use the right one for our security. So what convinced me that Kwikset is really a lock that is worth the investment? Kwikset offers quality and durable locks. We were given the chance to touch and feel the different metals that are used for locks. There were few known brands which we tried to test the malleability. Only the type of metal that Kwikset uses for their products was not bent. While most metals were easily bent, that material from Kwikset's was not even bent a little. I also saw how durable the Kwikset locks are when they were submerged in chemical ie. ammonia. Nothing happened to the Kwikset locks while the other brands of locks oxidized and changed its color into something like a burnt one. The best part of testing Kwikset's durability and strength is when few guests tried to hit the knobs. Brand X was eas...

TOFARM Film Festival 2018 3rd Edition includes Short Film Competition

Image
In the press conference held last March 14, 2018, at the Shangri-la Hotel Makati, the organizers revealed that the third edition of the  TOFARM Film Festival (TFF)   shall now include a TOFARM Short Film Competition. The brainchild of Socio-Entrepreneur Dr. Mila O. How, TFF is the only advocacy-driven film festival in the country today, with entries showcasing the lives, journeys, trials and triumphs of the Filipino farmer. "We were deeply saddened with the demise of Direk Maryo J. delos Reyes, our first TFF Director," Dr. How said. "He gave so much of himself for TFF. When he suddenly left us, we found ourselves at a crossroad. Should we go on with the project or not?” "But after a lot of thinking, I personally thought it’s best to carry on what Direk Maryo started. The festival would be a continuation of his vision for the farmers and for our film industry. This is our tribute to him," Dr. How added. In the absence of Direk Maryo, Dr. How ...

Amongst all the cities in Metro Manila, Quezon City is not only the biggest in terms of land area, but also has the most wide spaces for comfortable living. While high-rise condominiums have begun to sprout in Quezon City, homes in residential communities are still the top choice. Among these communities is a quaint and upscale residential enclave that continues to lord over the rest as the most desired address in Quezon City: Capitol Hills Perched in one of Quezon City’s highest elevations, Capitol Hills boasts of greeneries and breathtaking views. Posh villages like the Ayala Heights, and the neighboring La Vista and Loyola Grand Villas in Katipunan make this side of Quezon City as the most-sought-after address. Capitol Hills has its own gold course and country club, and is also the home of the famous Celebrity Sports Plaza. Rising in one of the prime areas in Capitol Hills is Larossa, a low-density mid-rise residential development within a spacious 3.6 hectare propert...
