Apple Reports Record $114.5 Billion Q4 Revenue Driven by iPhone Upgrades and AI Momentum
Apple has capped off fiscal 2026 with a record-setting fourth-quarter earnings release, reporting $114.5 billion in revenue and $30.71 billion in net profit. Driven by soaring iPhone upgrade cycles and sustained momentum across Services, the tech giant exceeded Wall Street expectations while preparing to launch its next wave of M6 powered Mac hardware and expanded smart home displays in early November.

Fiscal 2026 Reaches All-Time Revenue Highs

Apple's fourth-quarter results delivered a 12 percent year-over-year revenue climb, outperforming internal guidance and setting September quarter records for total revenue, net income, and earnings per share. Total company revenue for fiscal 2026 reached an all-time peak of $479 billion.

iPhone sales remained the primary driver, generating $57.58 billion in quarterly revenue as consumers upgraded across current smartphone lineups. Simultaneously, Apple's Services division set an all-time record at $31.57 billion, reinforcing the steady growth of subscription ecosystems including iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple Pay.

Hardware Expansion and M6 Mac Launch Schedule

The financial results come right as Apple prepares its hardware lineup for the holiday shopping season. Following late October unveilings, Apple is preparing to ship its new 14-inch MacBook Pro and refreshed all-in-one iMac featuring the next-generation M6 chip starting Friday, November 6, 2026.

The M6 silicon architecture integrates up to 12 CPU cores, enhanced ray-tracing GPU cores with dedicated Neural Accelerators, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine designed specifically to accelerate on-device artificial intelligence workloads and local language model processing.

Supply Management and Active Device Base

Apple CFO Kevan Parekh highlighted that the company generated $28 billion in operating cash flow during the quarter, allowing Apple to return $28 billion directly to shareholders. Chief Executive Officer John Ternus noted that Apple's global installed base of active devices reached new all-time highs across every major product category and geographic segment, positioning the firm strongly despite industry-wide component cost pressures heading into the end of the year.
