As electric scooters become an increasingly vital part of low-carbon urban transportation, Acer is expanding its micro-mobility lineup. At the next@acer global press conference in Berlin, the company announced the all-new Predator ES Thunder Pro e-scooter (PES037), built for long-distance commuters and users who demand versatile terrain performance.
High-Power Performance for All Terrains
As the most capable model in Acer’s e-scooter lineup, the Predator ES Thunder Pro is equipped with a 500 W rear-wheel-drive DC motor capable of delivering a 1,600 W peak output power and 32 Nm of torque. This enables the scooter to easily handle inclines with up to a 28% gradeability.
Powered by a 624 Wh battery (48 V / 13 Ah), the e-scooter offers an impressive travel range of up to 70 kilometers (40 miles) on a single charge, significantly reducing the need for daily recharging during heavy commute schedules.
Built for Safety and Stability
To handle unpredictable weather and rougher roads, the Predator ES Thunder Pro comes equipped with advanced stability and safety tech:
Traction Control System (TCS): Automatically adjusts power output in real time to prevent tire slip on wet or low-grip surfaces.
Tires & Suspension: Rides on 10-inch tubeless pneumatic off-road tires paired with front and rear rocker suspension with spring shocks for smooth handling.
Water Resistance: Features an IPX6 rating, protecting the scooter against strong water jets and rain.
Braking & Lighting: Equipped with front and rear disc brakes with rear eABS, front daytime running lights, and customizable side RGB ambient lighting for maximum nighttime visibility.
Smart Ecosystem & AI Voice Commands
The e-scooter integrates into modern smart device ecosystems. It features dual-platform location tracking via Apple Find My and Find Hub, giving riders peace of mind regarding theft or loss.
Through the Acer eMobility app, users can view real-time riding telemetry, manage electronic locking, and adjust lighting. The app also introduces AI voice control, allowing users to check battery status, lock or unlock the vehicle, and control lighting using hands-free voice commands via a smartwatch or smartphone.
Pricing and Availability
The Predator ES Thunder Pro will hit the European market in Q1 2027, with prices starting at EUR 799. Regional availability and pricing for other markets will be announced closer to release.
