Just steps away, the SM for MSMEs platform provided aspiring entrepreneurs with expert mentoring. The goal? Turning side hustles into sustainable ventures. As Jorge Wieneke of Tokyo Tempura pointed out, expanding MSMEs are the real engines of job creation, proving that trabaho and negosyo are two sides of the same coin.

Hired On The Spot: Speedrunning the Job Hunt

The efficiency was on another level. Many participants, like Ma. Florebel Quililan, were Hired On The Spot (HOTS). For her, the speed of the process meant moving from being "tambay" to a professional at Hi Precision in a single afternoon.


To keep the momentum going, the SM Government Service Express was on site to help new hires speedrun their paperwork. Agencies like the NBI, SSS, BIR, PhilHealth, and Pag IBIG Fund allowed applicants to process requirements immediately, removing the usual grind of visiting multiple offices across the city.


A Forward Thinking Ecosystem

Trabaho at Negosyo tells a bigger story: today’s job seeker can easily become tomorrow’s employer. Melody Adviento of Clinica Manila noted that the event was also a great place for B2B networking, allowing businesses to find ways to complement each other.
