TCL Philippines Collaborates with TESDA to Empower Healthy Food Preparation and Culinary Skills Training

TCL, the world's Top 2 TV brand and a leading consumer electronics company, has joined forces with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in a meaningful partnership. This collaboration aims to uplift the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) facilities in the National Capital Region (NCR) by providing the newest TCL AAT Inverter+ Refrigerators and training supplies to TESDA Technology Institution (TTI) beneficiaries.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was formally signed during a ceremony at the TCL PH Headquarters, attended by officials and representatives from both TCL and TESDA-NCR. With this partnership, TCL aims to inspire greatness within the TESDA training facilities, fostering inspiration and growth for all involved parties.

The donation of TCL's cutting-edge AAT Inverter+ Refrigerators to TESDA aligns perfectly with the celebration of Nutrition Month this July. These refrigerators will greatly support TESDA's training programs in food processing and domestic work, while also embodying TCL's commitment to delivering advanced home technology at affordable prices, promoting healthier, environmentally friendly, and practical lifestyles.

TESDA Manila District Director Niña Connie G. Dodd expressed her gratitude for this timely and promising partnership, which will significantly enhance the quality of TVET training delivered through a community-based approach in NCR. The tools and equipment donated by TCL will undoubtedly benefit the intended beneficiaries and set the stage for a lasting and exciting collaboration between the two organizations.

The generous donation was received by seven TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs) in NCR, including TESDA Navotas Training Institute (TNTI), TESDA Manila Training and Assessment Center (TMTAC), TESDA Pamamarisan Training and Assessment Center (TPTAC), TESDA Pasay-Makati District Training and Assessment Center (PMDTAC), Quezon City Lingkod Bayan Skills Development Center (QCLBSDC), MUNTIPARLAS-TAPAT District Training and Assessment Center (MDTAC), and TESDA-NCR Regional Training Center (TESDA-NCR RTC).

Mr. Joseph Cernitchez, Brand Manager of TCL Philippines, expressed their delight in extending assistance to fellow Filipinos. TCL is committed to finding ways to help and uplift livelihoods through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects like this collaboration with TESDA. They believe that the support and trust of the people have solidified their position as a global leader in the electronics industry.

Looking ahead, TCL is eager to forge more collaborations with additional training centers, not only to support education but also to give back to the community and contribute further to the Filipino society. As they continue to thrive as a top electronics brand worldwide, TCL remains dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the Filipino people.
