NEON ESPORTS, MIRACULUM GAMING ADVANCE TO PREDATOR LEAGUE ASIA PACIFIC FINALS

After a grueling round employing mind-tricks, strategy, and sheer love of the sport, Neon Esports and Miraculum Gaming bested their opponents in respective tournaments and bagged the Philippine championships title at the recently concluded Predator League 2020 Philippine Finals held at SM North EDSA.



Predator League is the most anticipated professional gaming tournament and the largest brand-initiated tournament in the Asia Pacific (APAC).

Predator, the brand with the most complete gaming devices, gathered the best of the best Philippine gamers to determine who shall represent the country in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020, which is scheduled for Feb. 22-23 in Manila. They will face off with teams from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Using speed, wit, and determination Neon Esports took home ₱150,000 and a slot at the APAC finals wherein they will compete together with TNC Predator for DOTA 2 and first runner-up Lowkey Esports who also took home ₱50,000 cash prize. SG Dragons placed second runner-up with a cash prize of ₱35,000 while Cignal Ultra placed third with ₱15,000.


Team Miraculum Gaming won the PUBG tournament with ₱150,000 cash prize and an APAC finals slot alongside ArkAngel Predator. Not far behind is Angel Alliance bagging the first runner-up spot with ₱50,000 cash prize. Gamer’s Lounge placed second with ₱35,000 while Excommunicados placed third with ₱15,000 cash prize. 

The first-ever Asia Pacific Predator League was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, to further reinforce the Predator brand's commitment to supporting the gaming industry globally starting in the region. The second edition was held in Bangkok, Thailand, saw one of the fiercest battles with the tournament lasting three days at Nimibutr Stadium in February. Over 10,0000 fans watched the battles in real-time — and in real life. It garnered 4.3 million views online and peak concurrent viewership of over 60,000.

The Philippines will play host for next year's finals.

Predator is a Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) Prestige partner for the esports tournament. This is the first time that esports is included in the SEAG.
